Eastern Spinebill and Passionfruit is the latest study to join my ongoing series of 15x15cm paintings, focussing on our gorgeous small birds. A beautiful palette of soft blues and greens bring a calming mood to this painting. What a spectacular combination of subjects it is… The passionfruit is just so magical and romantic and I have been trying to find time to capture it for the longest time. Im so pleased to finally make that happen now, bringing this latest miniature to life at last.
