Superb Wren & Roses In Watercolour
With our Superb Fairywren painting lesson and illustration complete, Ive taken my sweet little bird further, adding a delicate, rosey surround to his story. The painting sold in the early stages of rendering the bird, so it was a fun process being able to work with my client to create a beautiful painting together.
Settling on roses, a blooming surround of uplifting yellow and heart warming pink, i happily set to work creating and rendering this sweet bird study for my client. This stage of the painting is not for copying of course, but I wanted to share this finished piece with you, showing you how Ive taken my own piece beyond the painting tutorial, into a completely new and unique to me direction.

This series is such a wonderful collection, each a deep dive into subject, medium and the nth degree of technical watercolour painting challenge to keep pushing my skills forward, creating and capturing beautiful things, moments and memories in time for all to enjoy.
