ANNOUNCING TWO NEW PAINTING WORKSHOPS FOR 2027!
Gold Coast + Melbourne
With all workshops sold out for 2026 AND 2027 – I’m very excited to announce two new in-person watercolour workshops for 2027, heading to the Gold Coast in March and Melbourne in April!
Both workshops will explore a beautiful small bird and botanical study in watercolour, giving us the opportunity to dive deeply into realistic watercolour techniques while creating a complete artwork together. That personal guidance really makes a difference, and these events are a lot of fun to be a part of!
The specific subjects are still being finalised, but the workshops are designed to give you a wonderful cross-section of practical skills and creative challenges that you can take into your future painting practice.
We’ll explore:
• Realistic watercolour painting techniques and improved application
• Create beautiful textures
• Create fine detail and refinement in your work
• Learn practical strategies for improving accuracy and confidence
• Developing a clearer, more independent approach to your painting
These are hands-on, fully guided workshops, with demonstrations, one-on-one support and plenty of opportunity to ask questions as we work. I’ll take you through the process step by step, helping you understand not just what we’re doing, but why we’re doing it.
You can be a complete beginner, or already have plenty of painting experience. What matters most is that you enjoy working with detail, are curious about watercolour and are keen for a restorative, creative unplug. Realistic watercolour is incredibly rewarding, and there’s something wonderful about watching a painting gradually emerge through all those careful layers.
And, of course, workshops are about more than painting. They’re a chance to step away from the usual rush, spend a few days immersed in creativity, meet other like-minded people and simply enjoy playing with brushes.
