Waratah Botanical Illustration ~ Australian Geographic Magazine Issue 130

Waratah Botanical Illustration ~ Australian Geographic Magazine Issue 130 – SOLD

This A4 watercolour painting is the first in a series of 8 paintings featured in the January/February issues Nature Watch section of this publication. The illustrations depict our beautiful, diverse Australian Floral Emblems. The spectacular Waratah is the state flower for New South Wales. Though it is a true challenge to render this subject well, it is undoubtedly a favourite of mine!

My Waratah botanical illustration is also featured on the Australian Geographic’s websiteΒ featuring Australias floral emblems in more depth

Waratah (Telopea speciossissima) is SOLD

Paint with me in beautiful Tuscany

italy painting workshop / retreat opportunity!!!

Step into the timeless beauty of Tuscany and join me over 9 days/8 nights of painting, adventure, culture, and beauty in the medieval hilltop town of Lucignano.

Famous for its rustic streets, ancient walls, and sweeping countryside views, this experience invites you to paint, explore, and immerse yourself in one of Italy’s most charming regions.

Our studio for the week is within the walls of a truly authentic and magical 13th century building, the heart of our Tuscan home and workshop for this event.

Resting right on the edge of town, it provides us with a uniquely atmospheric space for our guided painting sessions.

Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment where you can focus on your watercolour practice while soaking in the historic surroundings.

Come for this special experience, or weave it in to a greater adventure, I am so excited to share this place with you all.
