Whats ahead for this months painting lesson together…? We are exploring the gorgeous Hyacinth Macaw, learning all about capturing this fantastic bird subject in realistic watercolour.

Its has proven to be a really excellent focus for our next learning challenge, working in large, textural washes, refining our foundation with varying techniques and balances in layers, to a completed portrait.
