A final insight into our last #paintingworkshop for you, we look at the last stages of our Regent Honeyeater and Waratah studies coming together, with all the lessons and learning along the way, to completion. My students rose to the challenge for a beautiful week together out at @artshackwilgabah 🙏 It looks like were already booked out for next year, but stay tuned for more opportunities to come soon. Our special 'by request' Regent Honeyeater #paintingretreat is underway out here in Gods country NSW where the beauty and challenge of this subject are very real and embraced ✨️ Were having a wonderful time here soaking up this place, space, fabulous company and plenty of learning that this week brings us. Its just good for the soul, all of it! Slow mornings, good coffee, puppy love, misty meadows, blossom trees and bird song... Our Honeyeater paintings are taking shape with plenty of time left to unfold and enjoy yet.

Putting the final touches on my gum leaves, plucking out the wonderful textures and blemishes in its surface to complete my Adelaide #paintingworkshop study. This was a fabulous exercise in colour use and technique, rendering these 3 versions of leaf stories. Now we kick off the next study here on our #paintingretreat with @artshackwilgabah - what will it be?! Ill be back with more on that soon 🥰

Yesterday i took the day to finish off my recent #paintingworkshop studies which felt so satisfying and peaceful, just to paint! I have so many 90% complete paintings from classes here now, so it was great to bring a couple to completion. Here, im putting the last touches of dark and refinement to my #wrenpainting in #watercolour to bring this super sweet study to life. 'Wren and Lilly Pilly' is now sold 🙏 Enjoy!
