Wren and Dianella in Watercolour – Watercolour – 15x15cms – AVAILABLE

‘Wren and Dianella’ is a member of my 15x15cm small bird series, focussing on the brilliant and beautiful blue berries of the Dianella. A watercolour study, this scene captures a classic sighting of the blue wrens bouncing about in the undergrowth, as they so often do. I was really excited about this combination of subjects and I am very happy with the final painting. It is so sweet, such beautiful colours and makes me feel happy and calm to look at it… another wonderful addition to my small birds painting series.
