This large, or very large painting of the Black Cockatoo and Stenocarpus, or the Chinese Firewheel tree explores these wonderful birds and a fascinating tree in great detail. The painting is a life size representation of these subjects which comes together with bold colour, luxurious texture and rich atmosphere, just as this subject commands. Measuring 1.5x1m / 5×3 foot in size, this has been a huge undertaking to create and represents many months of work, but the final results are absolutely spectacular
